About The Movie

Picture
In October, we (Red Jester Productions) began the initial shoot of this movie. Now we are ready to share our vision with our supporters. It will take us all banding together to make this story as powerful as it can be.

Ben Manthe was serving as an infantry soldier in Afghanistan when he was shot in the face. The old soviet round tumbled through the air, and by luck, entered his jaw backwards preventing his instant death. He would find out over the years, that getting shot in the face was the easy part. This film highlights the challenges of leaving the military, and finding a new tribe, mission, and family. He found his healing in the wrestling ring and started his own wrestling promotion. He is finally ready to stop hiding his story, and share it with the world in hopes that it will help save his brothers and sisters in arms, as well as anyone facing suicidal thoughts.

Ben's story will be echoed and enhanced by high profile interviews of celebrities and sports stars. These people have survived suicide attempts or have near attempts. It's important for us to showcase how several people have found a new patch to healing and health. Our collective voice will help remove the stigma surrounding the growing statistic. 20 veterans a day are committing suicide. The number is equally scary in the civilian world. We believe it is the silence that is killing us. The brave voices in this film are brave because they are strong enough to become vulnerable. In doing so, they will give others permission to do the same. To save their own lives, so they can say, "I'm STILL HERE."
